Our weekly Cultural Irish music community sessions are on hold due to fines from Stadt Graz. As a small business surrounded by loud and live music venues in the inner city, we are curious why the city would chose to damage our small business with acoustic music. 

We are working to resolve this issue despite the bureaucratic obstacle course we are being forced to endure. For over 7 years the Dublin Roads Traditional Irish music session and community have been successfully bring people of all nationalities and cultures together. This event has been enjoyed by so many Grazers and tourists alike since its beginnings and we mistakenly were under the impression that Graz saw itself as a city of inclusivity and culture. It feels currently as if this is no longer the case .

If the intentions of Stadt Graz are to 'protect' its environment for all they should take a look around as they  are visibly causing more harm than good. The continual closures of small local businesses, due to over regulation and insufferable bureaucracy should be something of concern for every inhabitant in this wonderful city. 

Just food for thought.
